Today is my 10th birthday and as a surprise my Mum made this website for me!
Although Mum did all the programming, I am going to make and publish all the content myself!
Computers and the internet are part of our everyday lives, and by running my own website I am going to learn lots of useful skills, including:
- HTML
the language that web pages are written in - creative writing
how to write interesting stories and articles that other people will want to read - content management
how to organise my stories and articles and make them easy for people to find - image processing
how to take digital photographs and prepare them for use on my website - acecssibility
how to make my website easy to use by disabled people
The best part is that I will be able to share my love of cars (and anything else with an engine!) with my friends, family and teachers!
Not all of the articles are written yet, and some don't have photos. But I will be putting lots more content up very soon, so bookmark my site and check back often!
